Terms and conditions

Website Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Weekendays Travel & Tours.

These Terms and Conditions explain how you can use our website and what happens when you ask us for a travel quotation or make a reservation through us.

When you book a particular trip, the quotation we provide to you will contain the specific details of your trip, including the price, inclusions, payment deadlines, cancellation rules, and other conditions that apply to that booking.

Once you accept the quotation and make the required payment, the terms stated in that quotation will govern your booking.

A. Asking for a Quotation

When you send us an inquiry or reservation request through our website, you are asking us to check availability and prepare a quotation. It does not automatically create a booking.

Sending a request does not mean that a seat, hotel room, cruise cabin, tour slot, or other travel service has been reserved for you.

Your booking only becomes confirmed when we have confirmed it with you in writing and the required deposit or payment stated in your quotation has been received within the specified deadline.

Until then, availability and prices may change.

B. Prices and Availability

We do our best to keep the prices and information on our website up to date, but travel prices and availability can change quickly.

Prices shown on the website are generally per person and in Philippine pesos (PHP) unless we clearly state otherwise.

Website prices are for guidance only and are not a final offer. Your actual price is the price stated in the quotation we provide to you.

Airfares, hotel rates, cruise fares, tour prices, and other travel costs may change without prior notice until your booking has been confirmed and paid within the deadline stated in your quotation.

If a price is displayed in US dollars or another foreign currency, any Philippine-peso amount shown is only an estimate based on our applicable exchange rate. The actual amount you need to pay will be the amount stated in your quotation.

Once a quotation is issued, please check its validity period and payment deadline. Prices and availability may change after the quotation expires.

C. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements

You are responsible for making sure that you have the correct travel documents for your trip.

In general, your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your intended return date, unless the destination's rules allow otherwise. You are also responsible for obtaining any visa, entry permit, vaccination, health certificate, or other document required for your trip.

We can provide guidance and, when requested, assist you with visa applications and other travel requirements. However, the decision to issue a visa or permit belongs to the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority, or government agency.

We cannot guarantee that a visa or entry permit will be approved.

If your visa application is refused, or you are denied permission to enter a country, any refund will depend on the cancellation and refund rules of the airline, hotel, tour operator, cruise line, or other supplier involved. Amounts that have already been paid to suppliers may not be refundable.

You should also be aware that immigration and border authorities may refuse entry or departure where permitted by law. Weekendays cannot guarantee that you will be allowed to enter or leave a country.

D. Changes and Cancellations

We understand that travel plans sometimes change.

If you need to change or cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will explain what options are available and what charges may apply.

Changes and cancellations are generally subject to:

The terms and conditions of the airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, insurer, or other supplier involved in your booking; and

Any applicable Weekendays service or administrative fees stated in your quotation.

The cancellation, amendment, refund, and rebooking rules that apply to your particular trip will be stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.

Please do not assume that a booking can be cancelled or changed free of charge. Some travel services are non-refundable or may have strict deadlines.

E. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance before you travel.

Depending on the policy and destination, travel insurance may provide protection for things such as medical treatment, emergency assistance, repatriation, trip cancellation, delays, lost baggage, and other unexpected events.

Some countries may also require proof of travel insurance as part of their entry requirements.

We can help arrange travel insurance if you would like to purchase it through us.

F. What Weekendays Is Responsible For

Weekendays Travel & Tours helps you arrange travel services provided by airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transportation companies, tour operators, insurers, and local ground operators.

Unless we specifically state otherwise, we act as an agent or travel arranger for these third-party suppliers. The services themselves are provided by the relevant supplier, and their own terms and conditions may apply to your booking.

We will make reasonable efforts to:

Provide accurate information based on the information available to us.

Pass your booking requests to the appropriate suppliers.

Clearly communicate the terms, prices, deadlines, and requirements that apply to your booking.

Assist you when problems arise and communicate with suppliers on your behalf where we can.

Once your booking has been confirmed, however, the actual travel service is generally provided by the relevant airline, hotel, cruise line, transport company, tour operator, or other supplier.

We are therefore not responsible for circumstances that are caused by a supplier or by events beyond our reasonable control, such as:

Flight or transport delays or cancellations.

Changes to airline, hotel, cruise, or tour schedules.

Weather or natural disasters.

Strikes or industrial action.

Airport, port, or airspace closures.

Government restrictions or actions.

Civil unrest or other events affecting travel.

Other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented or controlled by us.

If something goes wrong during your trip, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist and, where appropriate, coordinate with the supplier involved.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any responsibility or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Philippine law.

G. Information on This Website

We work hard to keep the information on our website accurate and current. However, travel information can change, and there may occasionally be errors, outdated information, or changes that have not yet been reflected on the website.

For this reason:

Website prices are indicative unless specifically stated otherwise.

Availability shown on the website is not a guarantee that a service is still available.

Itineraries, schedules, inclusions, hotel information, and other travel details may change.

The quotation and booking confirmation we provide to you are the final reference for your particular trip.

If you notice an error or information that appears to be out of date, please let us know so we can check it.

You may view and use the website for your personal travel planning and booking purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use our website content without our permission or the permission of the relevant rights holder.

H. Complaints and Governing Law

If something goes wrong with your booking or while you are travelling, please contact us first.

We would much rather have the opportunity to help resolve a problem than have you deal with it alone. When an issue involves a supplier, we will do our best to coordinate with them and help you understand what options are available.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Any dispute arising from your use of our website or our services will be handled in accordance with applicable Philippine law.
